8.30 am, pick up at your hotel and lead to visit to Wat Trimit (Golden Buddha temple), Chinatown Gate, Kuan Yin Shrine and then walk along dragon's belly street. 

Then we will explore the historic hut in Charoen Chai Community, is a small and unique museum, It was set for showing living and life of Chineses who's been here for over 100 years. the building is located in middle of China town of bangkok. Charoen Chai Community is one of ancient handcraft community in China Town Bangkok, to make traditional Chinese joss paper products which is continue working for over a century. You can buy one set of Chinese joss paper and make merit at one Chinese temple nearby for your goodness life.

Then you will be lead back to your hotel around noon.

 

 Activities and Experiences:

  • Wat Trimitr (Golden Buddha Temple).

Not only is Wat Traimit Chinatown's number one attraction, it is the site of the world's largest seated golden Buddha, five and a half tons of gold, actually the largest gold statue in the world, Thousands of worshipers come here daily, and the temple has a mystical aura to it. There is now an excellent new museum on the premises detailing the history of the Thai-Chinese.

  • Guan Yin Shrine.

Guan Yin is Chinese Lord Buddha or the Goddess of Mercy, and her 900 year old statue stands on the altar inside the shrine. Thousands of locals come to pray here, and especially at holiday times, the shrine is a riot of incense and smoke and the atmosphere is extremely otherworldly.

  • Walking Along the Dragon's Belly Street.

Since we called China Town street is the dragon street. That's why the belly of the dragon is full and pulsating and after the heavy jostle through the crowds it was time to start seeing the atmosphere surrounding us.

  • Charoen Chai Community & Historic Hut.

Charoen Chai, a community hidden in small soi off Charoen Krung Road, is an old-time "department store" where people came for traditional materials in their own neighbourhood. Known as a major wholesale/retail joss paper market, Charoen Chai is the place where ethnic Chinese shop for paper lanterns, red table mats embroidered with golden dragons, not to mention daily specialities sold in the vending carts.

  • Chinese God Shrine.

We will support the community to buy some joss paper to pray at the Chinese God Shrine nearby for yours and family's goodness.

 Be Responsible:

This program will support Charoen Chai Conservation and Rehabilitation group to  preserve their nearly century-old residence and the culture inherited.
