The beautiful beach of Village by the Sea Homestay (CBT Ban Talae Nok) has a special golden tint, in part of National Park, is backed by Casuarinas pine trees, mangrove forest, and small lagoons.

Immerse in the local culture at traditional Islamic fisherman’s village where people still lead a simple way of life on the North Andaman Coast. Play and join a part in handicraft demonstrations, enjoy a local barbeque dinner on the beach, and relax in the wondrous atmosphere. Explore the nature of a trip to the undeveloped Gam Islands or a mangrove tour in the forest surrounding the village.


 Activities and Experiences:

DAY1: Cultural Exchange (L,D)

Meet your homestay family and take a village walk to learn about the history and Tsunami in 2004.

Then you can learn the art of Batik‐ dyeing fabrics by using designs drawn in wax and you can keep it as a masterpiece of souvenir back for beloved friends and family.

Then we can continue learning about local wisdom handicraft with local villagers, to weave leaves of the Nypa palm to make traditional roof panels.

Enjoy a spectacular Andaman sunset while eating a delicious barbeque dinner on the beach. Is that sound good? and yes, why not to share stories with your host family.

Overnight at Homestay.


DAY2: Natural Wonder (B,L,D)

Take a casual sightseeing through the mangrove forest and get inspiration how the villagers are active in protecting this amazing ecosystem.

A journey to the *Gam Islands and enjoy the white sandy beach, go for a swim and snorkel in the clear blue waters. Have a picnic lunch on the beach.

Enjoy the handicraft workshop with the women’s soap group, beautifully handmade herbal soap using the finest natural ingredients and you can keep it as a valuable souvenir. Then local fishing activity on the beach.

Then it's a time, relax on the beach for another sunset or learn the essentials of Thai cooking.

Then being a local to try on traditional Muslim clothing and learn about their culture.

DAY3: Village Life (B,L)

After we got the glorious sunset view already, we will not miss the impressive panoramic view of the village by walk to the school in the morning.

Then Make a local Thai dessert – tasty grilled coconut wrapped in a leaf. It's a secret recipe.

After lunch, Transfer Kuraburi, end of the program

This program will support Ban Talay Nok community in Ranong province to ensure that a majority of the money from each trip goes directly to the villagers and contributes to the community fund. This creates jobs to help families stay together instead of working in towns far away, and, through the community fund, supports scholarships, youth activities, and other initiatives.
